ZONE FITNESS IS NOT SAFE!!!

DON'T BE A VICTIM!!! It was the 6th of March 2019 at approximately 16:30. Being urgently pressed for time due to an unforseen EMERGENCY, I swiftly rushed from my campus to my Zone Fitness gym in Pretoria CBD, as I had safely stored my bag in a locker earlier during the day.

As I URGENTLY approached the check-in counter, I took notice of an stagnant queue of 2, presumably a result of a technical issue (a constant theme at Zone Fitness), after which I humbly asked the nice gentleman, who was at the front of the queue, if he could kindly allow me to quickly tag-in, as I was desperately pressed.

As the kind gentleman relented & prepared to disburse the kind favour, a young receptionist eagerly interjected in an AGGRESSIVE & INTIMIDATING tone, with utterances in what I could presume to be in her home language, as I could not understand what she had said.

Electing to make an executive decision, I instinctively decided to utilise another gate (exit gate) as the point of entry, and proceeded to pace to the location of my bag.

After retrieving my bag from the locker, relieved as I proceeded to leave the facilities, I was met by the INTIMIDATING sight of a white lady, whom I presume to be the manager, inexplicably demanding "come with me".

I therefore proceeded to EXPLAIN to her that I unfortunately could not "come with her" as per her demands, as I had an urgent matter that I had to attend to (simultaneously pointing to my watch).

She nonetheless continued to assert her demands, so I explained to her AGAIN & I proceeded to walk away, after which I was HARASSED & MOBBED by 2 aggressive male staff, affectively blocking the exit & DEMANDING that I give them my membership card.

I relented & VOLUNTARILY handed over the gym membership card to them & proceeded to urgently attend to my personal matter as planned.

Now? Because they STOLE my card, I'm paying for gym facilities that I do not even have access to, which is a grave VIOLATION of the terms of the service agreement as stipulated in the gym contract.

BTW, I have NO interest in the continued usage of Zone Fitness facilities & fully support a national BOYCOTT of all Zone Fitness facilities respectively.

I WILL be pursuing LEGAL JUSTICE, not only for myself, but on behalf of all South Africans, who continue to experience disgusting customer harassment & adject states of customer service on a DAILY basis!

ZONE FITNESS: THE WORST GYM EVER!!! DISGUSTING & PATHETIC!!!
