Zone Fitness is a horrible gym!!!'

I signed a contract at Zone fitness for a year, which ended in February 2015. Hence our account was then on a month-to-month basis. <br> We moved to a new apartment and decided to change gyms as it was more convenient & a walk away from us. We called the Zone Fitness to clarify what basis our account was on & what procedures we had to undergo inorder to completely cancel my account and the ladies response was, and I quote ' your account is currently on a month-to-month basis, so all you need to do is STOP coming'. <br> Now, the initial reason for even bothering to call is because I couldn't find my contract as we might have misplaced it during the move. <br> <br> 2months Later (July 2015), since we stopped coming to the gym, I get a call from the gyms debtor asking me to pay for the outstanding fees! I explained the situation to her and she simply couldn't care, I then went in to pay and was told I had to pay more then the agreed amount, then I emailed the sales manager who ignored me and later confirmed that he did indeed receive my email! <br> I then spoke to the debtor again & when I YET again went to pay on the agreed amount we had issues and she said she would call on Monday and still hasn't!!!!
