Zone Fitness Customer Service is 0.0001% Join at your own risk!!!

I am writing to express my deep frustration with the handling of my gym access at Zone Fitness (Bellville). On a previous occasion, I was informed by one of your staff members, who displayed a completely arrogant attitude, that I would not be allowed to access the gym, and the manager agreed with her reasons. While I initially accepted this, I am now seeking clarity.

I recently misplaced my membership card, but I still possess the original one I received when I first joined in Rondebosch. I contacted your team, only to be told that I would need to purchase a new card. I fail to understand why this is necessary, as the system should be able to link my old card to my account, regardless of the card number. This seems to be nothing but a money-making scheme.

Why are members continually required to buy new cards every time they misplace them, especially when the old card is still valid in your system? I find it utterly unacceptable that we are essentially being forced to participate in this ongoing cycle of purchasing new cards.

It is not about the R50 fee, but rather the principle behind this practice. Many others are likely being charged without it even being outlined in the contract. I have reviewed my agreement thoroughly, and there is no mention of this fee.

If you want to join a gym DO NOT GO TO ZONE FITNESS!, once you have joined they treat you like you mean nothing that number 1. and their gym in Bellville it feels like you are in a taxi rank. I have been to the one in Rhondebosch and Cape Town and they do promote cleanliness and staff is friendly that Why I decided to renew my membership only to find that I am in hell.

I have heard that some branches the staff there think that they own us as members and they talk as if we are small boys who cannot reason.

Read all reviews and do not ignore them like I did, "Where there's smoke there's fire".
