Zone Fitness & CS Solutions Incompetence

Approximately 3 years ago I cancelled my membership with Zone Fitness in Milnerton. Their *********** desk agent promised me that he would inform head office of my cancellation, even after i asked whether I should complete a form. A few months later they contacted me, telling me that I owed them money. I had a long discussion with the manager on duty and she confirmed that all was sorted and that the matter was closed and I no longer owed them any money.

Now, 3 years later, I receive a message from Zone Fitness's credit company, via my wife, claiming that I owe them money. We spoke directly to the credit company, CS Solutions, and communicated with Tamera Williams, explaining that this was a closed case. Tamera promised to contact Zone Fitness directly and sort it out. When we followed up with her on the progress, she didn't know what we were talking about, because she couldn't find the case on their side.

My wife then received a call from Zone Fitness, a lady called Tanela on 5 January 2021. Again we explained that this case shouldn't even be open. Tanela confirmed that she also spoke with CS Solutions and they couldn't find any record of this issue and that it was most probably an internal mistake.

A week later we receive another call from someone at Zone Fitness, another clueless person wanting to know when we will pay. We explain the issue again, give them Tanela and Tamera's names and ask them to follow up and that we consider this case closed

Yesterday I received another SMS telling me that I owe money. This SMS came from CS Solutions, which baffles me, because they told us that they don't have a record of our case.

I would definitely not recommend doing business with Zone Fitness at all. They are *********** and they don't listen to their patrons. I just want this issue to go away. It's absolutely unbelievable that, after 3 years of complete silence and no reason for contact, they claim I owe them money. And by extension, CS Solutions is just as ***********, seeing as they can't even keep track of their own information.
