Zone Fitness and Solicitors Harassment
My husband has an issue with Zone Fitness that started in 2018. He cancelled his membership, and the idiot at the reception desk didn't do their job properly, so they called my husband demanding payment. He explained the cancellation, the manager at the time looked into the matter, cancelled the membership and confirmed that all was sorted.
18 months later, we get a phonecall from a solicitor, demanding we pay outstanding Zone Fitness money. We explain the situation, and we get a written response saying that they were going to place the case on hold until they've spoken to Zone fitness.
A year later, the ponecalls start again...sometimes 2 phonecalls in one day from different people at the same solicitor's company. And every time we have to explain that, due to the mix-up and the time that has passed, we no longer have the confirmation in writing that the membership was terminated.
Even talking to Zone Fitness directly doesn't help, as the club managers just throw their hands in the air. The solicitors don't make notes on the file, because when I ask them if they've spoken to Zone Fitness like I requested the previous time, they tell me "no".
We are being harassed for something that's not our fault, and all we want is for this to be dealt with by Zone Fitness. Take ownership of your own mistakes, and stop harassing us for money. Tell your solicitors to get off our backs, because we don't owe you any money.
