Zone fitness Admin is weak

A week ago, I spoke to Sales rep Francisa. I had mentioned to her in Feb that if the cash component for a membership is ever on special, to contact me , as I'd be interested I bumped into her last week, and she mentioned the special was on again ( but she did not mention the time limit). I gave her my number, name &surname and my ID number and I asked to contact me so that we can complete the paper work, as my membership had expired that day. A week later, I called to follow up as I had not heard anything. She said she doesn't remember chatting to me and that the special was over. We spoke for a bit and then she realised that we had spoken and she did not follow up as requested.

I spoke to the manager at the Bellville Branch, Garth, and he essentially said it was my fault for not following up. I explained to him that I did not know there was a timelimit and following up a week later is not unreasonalbe.

I've been at this gym since 2011 and part of Zone ever since the take over but I may have to move now coz the only reason I stayed with Zone was the pricing. Now due the sales consultant, I'd be paying R900 in total more. That's not fair.

This is not the first time I've experienced poor admin from Zone Fitness
