Zone fitness

Hi, I am not satisfied by the amount of harassment iv received from zone fitness debt collectors I had initially signed a 12 months contract with them and i only went to gym for 1 month an stopped because it was far. Then i didnt cancel their membership until i owed around R700 i then went to the gym to arrange to pay that fee and cancel. however i was told to sign another membership and they will waive the money that i owe but they failed to disclose that the contract they making me sign was a 24 months agreement. In february i got a call from their debt office saying i owe R546 and i made it clear that im a student and currently unempolyed however, i will try to make payment of R200 in march.

I went to the gym the first week of march where the consultant told me not to worry month end march i must come to the gym and pay R1500 and i will get gym access for the year and my debt will be waived. a few days ago i get an email that my things will be repossed if i dont pay zone fitness and i emailed the lawyers and let them know of this and i was quoted two different amounts R4080 and R4863.70 all in the same day., but how is this possible how did the money i owe get that much.

At this point i feel like zone fitness preys on students as they know we will fail to pay and they will gain more than hey bargained from them. If i couldnt afford to pay membership fees every month or the cancellation fee how will i afford R4000
