Unhappy and Mistreated client

Zone Fitness Sancardia seriously lack communication skills and they are just so *********** and unprofessional. I joined the gym in 2019 and then fell pregnant along the way,when the belly started showing the lady who assisted me when I joined(her name is Queen) advised me to bring a letter from a doctor when I'm about to go on maternity leave so that my account can be frozen for 6 months. I was due in July 2020 but unfortunately due to covid gyms were closed and the they never communicated with us a means of getting hold of them if it happens we have queries. So as soon as the president announced the opening of gyms I asked my husband to submit the letter on my behalf since I was still at home. He said he got there and explained to the lady at the front desk that he came to submit the Dr's letter as I was advised to , unfortunately he did not note her name and the lady wasn't really helpful as she was busy saying she was not sure if a membership can be frozen, he said he then told her if you not sure why don't you find out because I remember when we joined they even told us that even if it happens that you go away due to work purposes you can still freeze your membership, eventually she took the letter and said she will submit it at their accounts or membership department and they will contact me, which they never did and I just assumed it means everything is sorted.Up until February or March this year when I received an sms from the attorneys saying my gym account has been handed over. I then contacted the lawyers and enquired what was with the sms, the lady said my account has been handed over as I ddnt honour my commitment, explained to her what actually transpired she then said I should go to the gym because they are hired by them. I went to the gym I think it was towards end of April as I couldn't go earlier since I lost my Mum in March, unfortunately when I got there was not assisted was just told that my account was being handed over, I should have emailed the letter and now I have to communicate with the lawyers. I told them what you telling me is nonsense because she shouldn't have taken the letter in the 1st place and provided me with the email address, now you trying to protect yourselves where's your at fault.

I asked to see the manager and the said the manager is not available and was not even told when was he going to be available. it is so sad that the very same people who would beg you to join, even block you on the streets begging to join suddenly when you need their assistance for the mess which was created by them, you do not get any help. The owners should just intervene because surely I am not the 1st and the last to complain about this gym
