Unfair treatment from zone fitness.

I joined zone fitness just before lock started in 2020. During this pandemic I could not pay my monthly installments due to unemployment and for a very long time the Gyms were closed. I'm still struggling to get a permanent income and today I received a call from a debt collection agency advising me that I owe zone fitness R14,000.00 in outstanding payments and arreas. I could not believe what I heard! I don't even know where the 14k even begin and where am I supposed to get that money to pay back being self employment and work that's nowhere available. I am a single father with 3 kids....2 in high school and my eldest that just started university. The entire country was in lock down and nothing was operational especially the gyms. How can zone fitness be chasing poeple for outstanding arreas and payments knowing they were shut down due to covid. Does zone fitness have no sympathy for those who can't even earn a decent salary these days? I understand that there was an agreement and I really want to honor it... But 14k is a bit very heartless and cruel. My children's wellbeing is of utmost importance and I think that zone fitness can at least give its clients a all to get an understanding of the real financial situations south-Africans can be. The worst is that I now stand a chance the to be black listed and this because zone fitness wants there money... I can't even afford a monthly repayment.
