Unfair contract cancelation

As I already stated before. Due to ill health and a recommendation from my doctor and surgeon with a letter outlining the medical problem they refused point blank to can the contract. They want me to pay a cancellation fee of R1250 to cancel the contract. They were also in breach of there own contract because you have to pay a maintenance fee of R 90 every six months and I was there for 2 months when they took the maintenance fee. There contract also states on the back of page one that you must tick the block that if any family member dies of certain causes they can't sign you up. On page 1 paragraph 2 it clearly states that you can cancel if you suffer ill health but they refuse to take note of the doctors request. So on those grounds I don't see why I should pay a cancellation fee. I have emailed them but they are now harrassing me for the money. If they continue with the harrassment I'll have no other option but to take it to the small claims court.
