Unauthorized Debit Order Despite Contract Lapsing

I have been billed for months after my contract lapsed and there doesn't seem to be any accountability from staff. According to the Consumer Act, no company may continue billing consumers after the lapsing of a contract that had a set period, whether there has been notice to cancel or not, the contract period is stated in the contracted and must be adhered to unless another contract is entered into. I will be following a legal process through the small claims court to have my money refunded and I am disappointed by this experience as I did not breach my contract and kept up with all monthly payments.
