I signed up with Zone Fitness in August 2018. My Contract therefore ended August 2020, or at least that is what the contract stated that was signed by both parties. When I notified them of my intention not to extend my contract I was informed that the contract has been extended by Zone Fitness because of Covid-19. The reason is that they have not received 24 payments out of me, the contract does not state an amount of payments, it states 24 months. The contract also does not make provision for extension due to a pandemic. Changes can not be made to a contract without the consent of both parties. I now need to pay a cancelation fee to end my contract. This is bad business practices from them. If anybody can maybe assist it would be much appreciated. I will never recommend anybody to join Zone Fitness.
