Theft after cancellation

I was a member of Zonefitness Cape Quarter branch for two years, but I left the country. My sister enquired for me as to how I was to go about not renewing the contract for another term. She was told by a man named Dale, that I had to send him an email a month in advance stating I did not want to renew. After having done so, I did not hear back from Dale.<br> <br> I noticed though that my account kept being charged by Zonefitness every month after I sent the email. As a result there is no more money in the account and the bank is now charging me fees. I am still out of the country and I have not received any feedback despite my sister phoning them again and myself sending emails to a Samantha. <br> <br> The branch clearly does not care about this situation. They have actually committed theft, as I followed their instructions, yet they still take money from me. With no responses from the branch, it appears I have no other choice but to go to the police and open up a case.<br> <br> Really poor service from this branch. I would recommend that no one join this gym.
