Terrible Service

<p>I orginally signed up at the Zone fitness at Mitchells Plain,Promenade. I then upgraded to the Superclub memebership at St Georges square where they told me they'd cancel the other contract and have St Georges be my membership club. </p> <p> </p> <p>My account was always paid on time, I went regularly to the gym and in April 2016 I noticed that the debit order had not gone off, I then went in to query this at the Westgate Branch and they said no everything is fine,the account is up to date, the next month the money goes off as usual and then in August the debit orders just suddenly stop. By this time I have changed accounts so I only put enough for my gym fees to go off in the account where my money for the gym payment is. I go into query this and again I am told all is fine.</p> <p> </p> <p>Imagine my surprise when I go to St Georges square and I'm being told that my account cant be found on the system. The lady then proceeds to phone all the Zone Fitnesses in Cape Town and it turns out that my memebership was never moved from Mitchells Plain even though I signed up at St Georges square the second time. The lady then tells me my account is R2360 in arrears and its been handed over to the attorneys. This shocked me as I have never been notified via phone call,sms,email or letter, or when I went into query my account ,that my account is in arrears, has been handed over to legal or sent to credit worx. </p> <p> </p> <p>I then emailed the debtor at Mitchells Plain and she tells me if I pay the R2360 my account would be up to date but I need to contact creditworx for further information,so imagine my surprise when I do eventually get a hold of Credit worx and they tell me I owe them R4360???? I then told the lady that I have never been notified once that my account was in arrears,handed over etc and she herself said that they cannot do this without notifying me first. She then suggested I go to my branch and sort it out there. When I leave work all the admin staff are gone already, please assist me as I am not paying R4360 for something that I wasnt even made aware of. This is unacceptable and poor business practice.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
