Terrible Customer Service.
Absolutely terrible communication and customer service. I have been trying to cancel my membership since MAY 2020 due to the financial constraints of being a Black student during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has rendered many unemployed and financially compromised. They have made it impossible to communicate with them. Each time I try to email regarding this matter they don’t respond. When my mom (who I am financially dependent upon) called on my behalf they told her that I have to go there myself and talk to the operations manager. When I got there the next morning, I was redirected to someone who told me that I should email her my details as well as the details of my situation. She said that she would forward the matter to head office and that someone from there would be in communication with me. I am yet to hear anything from them. Yesterday morning, I emailed the person who is in charge of cancellations (I got her email the first time I enquired about cancellation via the online portal). I have not received any response from her, but have just received a text from the Zone Fitness debtors saying that my account has been raised for “hand-over”. I want someone from Zone Fitness to actually communicate with me. How am I supposed to solve or even pay a PORTION of what I owe, if they refuse to have basic empathy and COMMUNICATE with me?
