Sloppy Service at Zone Fitness Muizenberg

Hi. I wanted to cancel my contract our contract at Zone Fitness Muizenberg branch. The lady I spoke to informed me that I am able to cancel the contract, however then I would have to pay a 60% (R7000 odd) fee. I informed her that the Sales Consultant did not explain this to us. And that I do not see how I can pay for something that I will not be utilizing and that if I had been informed of this cancellation fee, I would not have signed up. However, the Sales consultant definitely DID NOT explain this to my husband and I. I explained the lady that I had joined the Wynberg branch before and I cancelled that contract and they did not inform me this cancellation fee and they have never bothered me. they just cancelled it for me without any problems. I would not advise anyone to go to Zone Fitness in Muizenberg. As they do not explain everything to you when you sign up with them. I do not see how I am going to pay every month or pay a R7000 for a facility that I will not be using.
