I signed up with Zone Fitness in Kloof Street Cape Town last year for R200 per month. On signing up the sales consultant, Chris told us that we just needed to have a debit order for one month and then we could pay cash over the counter each month thereafter. He also said that there is no longer a 1 year contract, hence the reason we signed up for 2 years, also that if ever we wanted to cancel the contract we were welcome to do so withour paying anything. Told us that we don't need to read the fine print as all he has told us is truth. We then believed him and signed a 2 year contract @ R200 per month.

I defaulted one month, and since then my account is been debited every month for R230. When I went to speak to them they said the R30 is for handling fees which the bank charges them when a debit does not go thru. I then called the bank I am with, which is Capitec and they confirmed that Zone fitness would not be charged a fee if the debit was not successful, instead, I would be charged a fee.

Today. (Wednesday 21st Sept 2016) I went to Zone Fitness again to try to clear this up and they cannot give me a valid reason as to why they are debiting my account with R230 per month instead of R200 per month, other than they get charged for unsucceful debits.

So, if Zone Fitness is doing this to me, how many other people are they doing this to. They are *****!!!!!
