Refusing to cancel my membership

I app**** for a 3 year contract in 2019, no one could have predicted what would happen in 2020, I have since only used the Gym in Feb and November of 2020. I felt too insecure with everything that is happening to be in a gym. I have been paying for a membership I no longer use and no longr want but I cannot get out of it. I am a single mom and sole provider - In January 2021 I requested to cancel my membership because I am not using it and could save that R129.00 for something I need, now I don't earn a lot of money. I was told by Zady Van Rooi I needed to pay R2000.00 + to cancel the membership, Got a call yesterday and still no feedback
