Paying for services you did not made use off

Just to share this with the world out there. About 7 to 8 years back a sales consultant signed me up, a few days later i told them that i dont want this anymore because i'm too busy and i wont make it to make use of there services. So the lady told me that i must pay an amount of R5000.00 to cancel even though i did not use the services, so i told her but this is **************** how can you pay for services you did not make use of and by the way the sales guy did not explain this to me. Now 8 years back they handed me over to saya debt recoveries to make payment which is insane!!

Its like going to someone and sign them up but not be honest and straight forward about whats going to happen if you cancel.

point remains: How can these people let you pay for services you did not evens made use of.

If they have proof that i made use of their services than by all means. They did not evens provide me with a access card nothing!!!
