Pathetic excuse for a company

a year ago i was an employee at a company which has a zone fitness on their premises. When they opened they ran a special for employees at said company which allowed the monthly contribution to be deducted from ones pay slip. It was a 2 year contract which I confirmed with the consultant that after 2 years it will just be a month to month and if I miss the payment after 2 years it would just cancel membership automatically. In March 2020 I resigned from said company and of course zones payments stopped as it was coming off my pay slip. A whole year later i have Debt collectors calling for an overdue account. I immediately contacted zone fitness Belville and spoke to a lady by the name of Zady Van Rooi who i have mailed on numerous occasions and called. She is the Debt administrator who advised i could email my cancellation which i did. As for the outstanding R740 i mentioned to her that i refuse to pay this as I no longer work at said company she said she will contact her manager and get back to me. I still have no feedback and i have a company calling me for collections. I will not recommend any business to zone nor would I ever tell someone to work for such a pathetic excuse of a company.
