Misinformation makes bad business

I app**** for a year contract at the gym in Sancadia, Pretoria and started last April. Naturally the contract would be expected to expire in April this year but they kept deducting money from my account saying that they assumed I wanted to carry on with my contract. Mind you, there was no communication regarding all of this when I first app**** for the contract. I'm told 4 months later that I've been paying for an expired contract this entire time because I didn't email them a month prior to its expiration date that I want it cancelled. I mean where the logic in that? The contract had an expiration date!
