Membership Cancelation

I have emailed the sales manager of the branch I signed up at in order to request that my contract be terminated.
Initially, he asked my reasons for the cancelation, he then tried to convince me to stick to the gym and proceeded to offered me a transfer to another gym.

I have moved jobs and my current employer provides gym facilities free of charge, so there is no point in paying for something I have not used in months. I should have cancelled this months ago, or rather, never signed up. The problem is that Paul just stopped responding to my emails and my account has been debited yet again. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel a simple gym contract, I want this sorted ASAP.

Hello Miss FEDUP,

Firstly I would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience you have had in dealing with one of our clubs, and would like to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and allowing us the opportunity to investigate.

As per our telephone conversation, I will be logging the complaint to the Operations Manager of the club, as soon as I receive the email correspondence between yourself & Paul that you will forward to me as we had dicussed.

Someone should be in contact with you as soon as possible to assist.

Kind Regards
Stephen
