I was retrenched recently, and battling to pay my rent when I get a call from zone fitness telling me if I want to cancel my contract I must pay R1300, or they can freeze my account for 3 months there after I will have to pay that 3 months frozen back pay in full...This country is experiencing an all time hi of unemployment, when I tried to explain this to them, I was told that I must pay or action against me will be taken. Why on earth would this company threaten someone who can't even pay her rent. I can't pay if I have no money. End of story.

We do have sympathy for your situation and Zone Fitness Bruma has been in constant contact with you to provide you with options for your membership agreement, but unfortunately you did not find any of them suitable.
We apologize if you felt threatened, the intention was merely to inform you of the consequences if you do not settle you outstanding membership fee's.

I was told that if i made a ayment of R1300, they would freeze my ccount when i was unemloyed two years ago.
My gym membership was only suppose to be for 2 years.
I signed upp in Dec 2014 - its not Feb 2018 - and I am still paying for this membership.
Please someone sort this out, if you can take legal action against me, like you threatened me to after i told them i lost my job nd couldnt pay, then I am within my rights, so also now take legal action.

This has been going on since 2014. Now, it was only a 2 year contact - 4 YEARS LATER I AM STILL PAYING. That's not right. What is happening here is ridiculous. Please don't lie and say Zone Fitness has been in constant contact with me. But I can email you the proof of payment over the last 4 years where I have been paying. Time for you to step up now.
