frustrated member

So I am again…frustrated and despondent. How can one gym have so much going for them with the solid membership they have yet they don’t give a hoot ( I can think of a better word to write here) of their members. On 16 October my complaint was about the aircons that is not working (which has still not been fixed) and only after a few members complained did the “manager” come and apologise to class for the inconvenience. That was the last time we saw him despite him promising to come see the class again to give them feedback on aircon as well as broken equipment and general lack of equipment – he is of course a no show. Then I sent another mail a few weeks later about the gym mats that gets hidden away because we do not “pack it away properly” . This however was quickly resolved after my message on social media. So last night – night # 5 that the scale is out of order! And let me reiterate there is NO “apology for inconvenience” sign at the scale. No “out of order sign” either. The thing is just dead. Quite a few members got on it , trying to see if it is unplugged or just switched off but alas, the thing is not working. And once again does management care…NO they don’t. When I asked consultant what is wrong with the scale she mentioned they are waiting on a charger from Johannesburg…. now the Johannesburg I know you can courier things overnight… so not sure if she is referring to same Johannesburg though lol..maybe it is a Johannesburg that is overseas??? This is how ZONE FITNESS WESTGATE MALL treats their patrons… I am so frustrated with this horrible place but I am locked in a contract but as long as I have a contract and I see how they treat the people of Cape Flats , I will make a noise. The manager and staff of ZONE FITNESS needs to stop giving their members broken service and broken equipment – they need to realise that these are people paying for a service (like they promise you when they corner you in the malls to force you to join) with their hard earned cash! ZONE FITNESS WESTGATE MALL sucks!!!!!!!!!!
