frustrated at zone fitness trade route mall

hi i joined zone fitness trade route mall in 2019 on a 24month contract being told i had to pay 250 for the first month i only went twice in that same week and never set foot at the gym afterwards yet i was being debited everymonth all of a sudden they started phoning and sending sms saying i havent paid what am i suppose to be paying for? since i havent being using their gym than they said they are handing it over to lawyers, saying i owe over 4k

these people are ********

once they phoned me in 2020 saying i am owing them i told the lady who called that i havent been going to gym at all since i last went those first few days shew told me that its a contract, even though i dont use the gym ,i should still pay
