I have enquired about this membership months back via telephone. I have never been to this gym. The only gym I previously had a membership with was Gym Company.

To my memory, the day your selected sales consultant contacted me I was sold a 'trial period' which was R50 at the time. I had given the consultant my details for the said trial period not knowing that it was a contract setting me up for a membership, I did not sign any documentation to confirm this membership.

Once I realised that I was being debited monthly I had placed a dispute with my bank and further blocked any following debit orders. I have tried to send emails and I've tried getting in contact with the gym with no response after receiving SMSs about a payment being due.

This morning I got an SMS stating my account has been handed over to the lawyers. This is now an escalating issue that can have an effect on my credit record, kindly please send me the copy of the documentation you have against my name that states I have a contract with this gym and then we can proceed with solving this issue.
