Cancellation of contract

My friends and I joined zone fitness after Saj (consultant at zone fitness) gave us these amazing specials that funny enough only lasted for the weekend that we came to view the gym as if it were made up.<br> <br> After living less than five minutes away and being a regular at the gym which is heavily overcrowded and does not cater for the amount of people who are members there, i have since been forced to move and cannot continue using the gym. I have not attended the gym in the last 2 months as i the distance and traffic is far from ideal after work.<br> <br> I sent zone fitness an email explaining this and was informed that i would need to pay a sixty percent fee in order to cancel the contract, what??? This was never mentioned in the slightest when signing up and also when googling this i found some people only pay fourty percent and 20 percent, who gets to decide these amounts? <br> <br> i would never recommend this gym to anyone also especially after my friends cellphone got ****** there also on the first week when we joined and the managers then putting up signs everywhere the next day not to store valuables in the lockers.what are lockers there for? why are the locking mechanisms so easy to break?
