Bad Service and Lack of Communication

My friend has 2 contracts on his name with this branch. I offered to take them over due to unforeseen circumstances on his side. Myself and my husband went to the branch to see how to go about changing ownership of the contracts. We filled in applications and we were told to get my friend to send a letter to explain why the contract should be changed and would go through the manager for approval. Eventually my friend sent through the letter, which was not explanatory enough and then was told that he would have to go in, in person. We were also told to come in and fill out applications again! <br> When he went in, the assistant manager (Ryan) told him he didn't understand why he had to come in and just needed a letter. This was again sent. We were then contacted by someone else and told that the contract payer must stay the same but the members can be changed. I asked if the assistant manager could call back, which he never did. I called the following day, he said he was in a meeting and would call back to explain further. I'm still waiting 2 days later, nevermind all this has taken over 2 months!! Can someone pls explain this back and forth and why anyone would want to join this gym!

Hello DianneH,

Firstly I would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience you have had in dealing with one of our clubs, and would like to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I did attempt to contact you telephonically earlier, but unfortunately to no avail, and have sent email correspondence accordingly.

I have logged your query to the Operations Manager of the Club, as well as the Regional Sales Manager, in an effort to speed along the process.

Someone should be in contact with you as soon as possible to assist.

Kind Regards
Stephen
