Bad management

At Zone Fitness Cape Quarter I discovered that the steps in the studio were faulty and were not removed from the studio even though the staff and management were aware of the fault. The manager informed me that new steps had been ordered but the faulty ones were not removed. Only once I had raised the concern did they acknowledge the broken steps and committed to removing it, however were well aware of the safety hazard and up until that point had not removed it nor had put up a warning sign.

Once speaking to another manager, who had no issue with the faulty steps, said it is not a matter of life and death and that I am overreacting.

These two managers handled the complain with utter arrogance and in very poor taste. They didn’t seem to have safety as a top priority.
