My experience with Zone Fitness has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. For the past two months, my debit order of R275 has gone off correctly, and I have clear proof on my bank statements. Yet, I am still being told that I owe them money. This is completely unacceptable, especially when I can show that I have paid. On top of that, when I first signed up, there was a major mix-up with my account. I actually ended up paying two joining fees due to their mistakes. I was even advised to sign up using my partner’s details — for reasons that were never properly explained. I was given a slip confirming my joining fee payment, but when I lost it, I was told there was “no way to trace it,” which is shocking considering this is a professional gym chain. Since day one, my account has been a problem, and instead of correcting their errors, they continue to inconvenience me. Zone Fitness needs to seriously sort out their administration and billing systems. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.
