ZONE FITTNESS Rondebosch is not a SAFE SPACE FOR WOMEN!

Why did you employ a violent man, with zero etiquette who feels comfortable to resort in violence to address himself. Why are you guys employing people that are not creating a safe space for woman to gym? South Africa has the highest rate of woman abuse and I fail to understand as to how do you employ people that are contributing to violence against woman.

I am female who was ASSAULTED by an stuff member at your gym. I want a full refund of OUR [that is me and my husband] money as i no longer feel safe.

Today [23/06/2018] as the gym was about to close and we were heading out as we were also done, it flooded inside the gym, the rain poured inside and thus we[my partner and I] were shocked. We observed the situation for a few minutes and then decided to leave as we felt that it was not safe to stay.

As we were heading out I stopped to show my partner the video i recorded on his phone while doing that EMMANUEL a gym stuff member DECIDED TO BE ABRUPTLY RUDE AT US, he told us that we need to go as if we did not pay to be there as if we were invading the space! We responded and said that he could see that we were on our way, we were closer to the exit than any other gym member that was there. Obviously this man felt the need to harass us and that is not what we paid for.

He than decided to shout at us, totally being disrespectful. What is worse when i then decided to ask for his manger and attempted to record him in his bad behavior he than grabbed my hand violently inform me that he is not going to do that and he manhandle me, he grabbed and squeezed my hand to the point that it is still paining. At this point I'm so traumatized as i am not sure as to why he chose to be VIOLENT especially on me as a woman. Why did he feel so comfortable to hurt me? I don't feel safe anymore and I would like a full reimbur*****t of our money as we never paid to be dehumanized by a gym stuff member. The man is VIOLENT and i don't feel gym as a safe space anymore, especially having to know that i would be around HIM, its unfair on us that you guys choose to employ people who lay their hands on woman! its unacceptable that we should continue to gym in the same space as someone who was violent to me! It either you can guarantee me that i don't see him again or my back please!
