Zetlife find a way not to pay
Was admitted to hospital. Medical fund paid, but there was a shortfall of almost R24000. Sent the claim to zestlife and it took them very long to just tell me they will not pay because of 12 months waiting period. I was not aware of this because my medical fund also has a 12 month period but they paid. I rather cancel this policy because i see Zetslife will always find a loophole not to pay. Just a money making sceme.

The Terms and Conditions of your Gap policy is not the same as that of your medical aid.
Gap Cover has an exclusion for a claim within the first 12 months for a condition that existing in the 12 months prior to taking the cover. This is clearly stated in the marketing material and policy document.
