WILL FIND ANY EXCUSE TO NOT PAY A CLAIM
I have been with this Gap Cover through Liberty for 10 months now, my two year old daughter had to get her tonsils out. I waited my 15 working days with out hearing from them and then decided to check Hellopeter, everything everyone is saying about them is totally true... After phoning them NUMEROUS times because no one got back to you. I finally demanded that my claim be paid out, only to then be told they WILL NOT pay my claim because my daughter had tonsilitis the year before and it is therefore a pre existing condition!!!!! my daughter it would seem to me if you are with this gap cover they will find ANY reason to NOT PAY YOUR CLAIM. Do not waste your money on this Gap Cover.

Thank you for raising the fact that we did not get back to you timeously when you phoned. I will investigate this and ensure that we put the required remedial actions in place.
I am sorry that your claim was not valid due to your daughter having a pre-existing condition. Every effort is made to make new clients aware of this in the brochure as well as in the application form. It is however essential and only fair to other policyholders.
We currently pay in the region of 1 600 valid Gap claims per month which underlines the value of our Gap product.
