DO NOT USE ZESTLIFE FOR GAPCOVER

Not clear on how their claims work and if you submit a claim it takes them 15 WORKING DAYS to come back and decline, without emailing you and saying there is a discrepancy. As well as their claim process is ridiculous, forms to complete, so many documents to attach and the same info needs to be repeated again and again.

Dear Jackie,
I am sorry to hear that you feel frustrated.  As discussed earlier we will investigate your claim and will provide you with feedback.  Based on your feedback we have also improved our automated email wording.
Best regards

After Noleen's intervention everything was sorted out, BUT if I did not complain and just left it, the rating would have stayed the same, and why do we have to ALWAYS fight to get something sorted? MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CLAIM FOR A PREVIOUS INJURY/PAIN OR ILLNESS YOU HAD, OR COULD BE RELATED, THEY WILL NOT PAY. Also make sure you do not claim in the first month then they will say you just joined because you knew you where going to claim, so MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND all the terms and conditions. Thanks to Noleen for her great service, much appreciated

Dear Jackie,
Thank you for the update and I am pleased we could resolve your query.
You are correct in saying that it is important to understand the terms and conditions.
Especially the pre-existing condition waiting period which states that if you had a condition prior to applying for the policy then this condition is not covered in the first 12 months after taking the policy.
There is not any other waiting period (other than the pre-existing condition clause) that applies specifically to the first month that will result in claims not being paid.
Best regards
