Bad Management Practice
My daughter started on her own medical aid from the beginning of the year after she was on my medical aid as a child and student. She also joined Gap Cover from this company. As she is a very active sport person she need a good medical aid and gap cover due to the risk of injury. This said she contracted a knee injury and needed surgery, the surgery was approved by the medical aid ( Momentum) of wich Zestlife is also part of Momentum group as i understand. ther was shortfalls on the payment and this was claimed from Zest, i find it so incompetant and stupid that the Gap cover company and the medical aid company do not communicate with each other. Zest have a 20 day claim completion policy , now 5 months later still asking for documents. this is how the claim were handled. 1. Had to submit documents from medical aid with the claim. 2. After enquiry from us , had to submit letter from the DR stating that this was not an old injury. 3. After enquiry again had to submit clain record for the previous year from the previous Medical Aid. I do not have a problem submitting documents but really, it seems to me that the claim manager think the current medical aid, the Dr and my daughter is lying about the injury and the claim, ***?
Ask once of for all documents , if you request further documents every time it implies that you think the documents submitted is not truthfull.
I considered joining your company but after this , no thanks and i will also advice all my contacts to avoid your company.
