2 Zest Phones Broken In about a year

Hi. I initially purchased a zest phone about 2 years ago. After about a year of use, the first phone suddenly died and did not work afterwards. I sent in the phone to Zest, after which they returned a new phone to me, stating that the old phone was incapable of being repaired. I used the new phone for about 7 months, before the new phone stopped charging when plugged in. Now the phone only charges in certain positions and never to a full charge. I have contacted Zest about this but as the warranty on the first phone is up, they expect me to now pay to fix this second phone. I think its ridiculous that these phones break so quickly and easily from normal use, and you guys don't offer support in situations like this where I am now basically left with a useless phone.
