False or Withheld information on sales of product

I recently placed an order for a Microsoft 2016 PRO product with a once off membership fee--and no annual subscriptions. When I received the product, I did not open it immediately. When I did open it, on the installation instructions, I was advised that it must be installed within 7 days of receipt. When I queried this I was advised that some customers have had success with installing after the 7 days period but that there was no guarantee of success.Regardless no where on the T'c & C's ! I paid R1199 for the product. Nowhere on the T's& C's or even on the actual adverti*****t is mention made of the 7 days time limitation.

I cannot uninstall my current package unless I have a guarantee of success with the installation of the new package.

It seems that the product was distributed by Molecule in Johannesburg but Zasttra was the agent. I have had no success with either company and it seems that I have now lost R1199 through lack of communication from both companies. Surely the Consumer Protection Act should be able to ensure that I get value for my money??
