Caveat Emptor - Let the buyer beware !!

<p>I purchased an Umi Rome X smartphone from Zasttra early in January 2017 . The device was delivered on 09.01.17. I proceeded to mount my micro sim card only to find that the sim got stuck , I then tried the 2nd sim slot , again the sim got stuck. There is a fault with the two sim slots , the micro sim also got damaged and I had to obtain a new sim card.</p> <p>After much correspondence with Zasttra by email and telephone I have been told that they will not repair or replace the device under warranty.</p> <p>I have also contacted the official importers of Xiaomi in South Africa - Mobile in Africa , to be told by them that they do not import or service this particular model. Mobile in Africa also informed me that there is no one they can refer me to for repairs.</p> <p>Be warned that it is not a good idea to purchase from Zasttra.com , the Director of which is a Mr Wale Adejumo.</p>
