NO ELECTRICITY AT MARKWELL HOUSE - 2ND WEEK OF DEPRESSION

Staying at Zahavi's Markwell House is proving to be very traumatic. Last week we havent had electriciy for 4 days. And again from last night the electricity went off and came back on after 17H00 and an hour later, it went off again. Each tenant here pays close to R350 for the boiler, but amazingly we havent had hot water for more than 3 weeks and we in the middle of winter. We are not getting the services we are paying for. Its no longer frustrating living under such conditions but how safe are we as tenants? What are the chances of us not burning to death in this flat due to electrical faults? Management of Zahavi doesnt care about Markwell House tenants and the very same tenants get their lights switched off if they are even R100 short in their monthly rentals. Food is rotting in the fridges, and will they compensate us? We are forced to pile up at the security small area to plug kettles, charge phones and laptops which is a hazard on it own. Their swrvice is bwyond poor. I find it very rude for them to be forcing their tenants to live like this.
