NO ELECTRICITY @Markvell House

Im a tenant at Markvell House and its been approximately 24 hours with no electricity.. It went off yesterday the 25th April 2021 at Approximately 13h30 pm ( no explanation was given up until we querry around 9pm.. Explanation was just a reference number for a call logged with City power.. We don't know what really happened and what is the state of damage as well as plan of action so we can plan accordingly )

Until now it next day 26th April 2021 still no electricity and food is getting rotten in the fridge, i cant prepare baby formula because i don't have warm/ hot water.. Bear in mind that the rent is paid in full but my basic needs are not being met.

I work from home so my work is compromised since i cant charge laptop and cellphone... No explanation is given.

The generator that is meant for backup is useless... Why have a generator that will only ne used as a backup for elevator and passage lights only and not for tanents rooms? Is elevator more important compared to having lights, stoves and hot water in our rooms?

Im extremely disappointed because rent is needed in time hence we're no happy with living conditions

Should this persist for another few hours i will have no choice but to involve the Rental Tribunal in this matter.
