Terrible online shopping experience

After hearing only positive comments about shopping online at yuppiechef, I ordered a megamaster Baker pizza oven online on 28 December. The amount was immediately deducted from my credit card but I received no order confirmation. On 2 January I contacted customer service to enquire about the status of this order. At first they had no record of the order but later responded that it is out for delivery that day. After rearranging my schedule to accomodate this delivery, no delivery was made. On the morning of 3 January, I contacted customer services again to enquire about the delivery. They indicated that the courier company did try to deliver but we were not home. This was not true since we were home the whole day. They indicated that delivery will be done on 3 January and the product was delivered. Upon delivery I noticed that the box was opened before and resealed. We then tried to assemble the product but could not due to a ***** that was suppose to be bolted to the frame that was completely broken off. The product also had several scratches including patches of the paint removed on the frame. It was clearly opened before, resealed and sold to me. I again contacted customer service and demanded a refund. They indicated that it will be processed on 5 January and they will communicate to me when it is done. The default product was collected on 5 January but I did not receive a response or refund from yuppiechef yet. There was not one thing that they did correctly with this order. I would not recommend them to any one in the future. Rather order the products directly from the suppliers.
