Registry Nightmare
I was very impressed with the appearance of Yuppiechef, their selection and their pricing, I made them the main focus for my registry, encouraging guests to buy gifts, vouchers or online gifts through our registry with them.
I've been sadly disillusioned and highly irritated. What was supposed to be the best part of going through the process was the absolute worst.
When trying to check out the system did not read or deduct the voucher our guest bought.
While providing 3 'family discount' vouchers, even if not used if the bride and groom choose to purchase the gifts not bought themselves they pay full price. So don't think you can close your registry and use one of them on check-out, you can't.
All of the family discount vouchers read as expired even though I was not informed of any expiry date. On asking about that I received no response.
Do yourself a favor and use w******ry for your registry instead, their prices are the same and they take much better care of their customer. I would also recommend if you have made the mistake of using Yuppiechef, that you just check out what was bought by your guests and use w******ry or Takealot or Edgars for buying everything else, you'll almost everything you need and you will also find the last two have better prices on pretty much and the former will give you discount which actually makes them cheaper plus they do gift wrapping.
