Concerns Regarding Yuppiechef's Disciplinary Process and My Dismissal

I am extremely disappointed by the way my disciplinary process and subsequent dismissal from Yuppiechef were handled.

I was dismissed on 9 October 2026 following an incident involving a customer. I have serious concerns about the fairness of the disciplinary proceedings and whether my side of the story was properly considered.

During the hearing, the chairperson questioned whether I had anger issues. A witness also alleged that I wanted to hit the customer, an allegation I dispute. I am concerned about the way this allegation was presented and considered during the proceedings.

What makes this outcome particularly concerning is that I had no prior disciplinary warnings. I believe my employment record, the circumstances of the incident and the proportionality of the sanction deserved proper consideration.

I was left with the impression that the outcome had already been decided before my defence was fairly considered. I also had concerns about the impartiality of the process. I believe every employee deserves a fair hearing, an unbiased assessment of the evidence and a reasonable opportunity to respond to allegations.

This experience has left me deeply disappointed. I believe that accountability and fair treatment of employees should be fundamental values within any organisation.

I am asking Yuppiechef to review the circumstances surrounding my dismissal and respond meaningfully to the concerns I have raised about the disciplinary process.

I am sharing my experience because I believe workplace fairness and accountability deserve to be taken seriously. I reserve my right to pursue the appropriate formal channels to challenge the fairness of my dismissal.
