Broken Kitchenaid from Yuppiechef or Takealot - who knows

Is it standard practice for Yuppiechef to sell products from Takealot? We ordered a KitchenAid in-store, but beyond the delivery issues and empty promises from the salesperson, the product we received was broken and had a Takealot tag on it. We'll be returning it to the store, and hopefully that will go smoothly, but what the hell is up with that? Super concerning.

Hello Andries,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We sincerely apologise for the trouble caused when receiving a KitchenAid product with another retailer's tag.
We’ve already reached out to the supplier to investigate what might have caused this mix-up. Our aftersales team will be in touch with you soon to assist and resolve the matter.
Thank you for your understanding, and we truly appreciate your patience.
Have a lovely day further.

Hi there. The situation is still not resolved. According to the store, the supplier mixed up and sent us a model that was originally sent in for repairs - with a takealot tag on. The status of our order has been stuck on "arrived at supplier" for a while now. I would have expected Yuppiechef to expedite the order to resolve the issue.
