Avoid shopping on Yuppiechef
Giving Yuppiechef one star is one star too many. Ordered food items on the 7th of May and still awaiting delivery. They seem to be highly selective in terms of which clients they provide a service to. If you live in Cape Town, wonderful, if you live anywhere else in the country, prepare to be very disappointed. Making false promises on your website in terms of delivery, and then just saying sorry after the fact, even though the problem is not resolved, is also not okay! They are taking people's money under false pretenses.

02 Jun 2020, 14:47We care enormously about our reputation for good service, so this is devastating for us. We’ve got all hands on deck, working extra shifts, to get through a backlog of orders and queries as a result of the lockdown. We truly are sorry that we've disappointed you.

02 Jun 2020, 14:59So once again, I get a "sorry" and the standard excuse, but ZERO resolution. I am tired of getting the run around! What is being done? If you cannot deliver the products I have paid for, kindly refund my money immediately. Stop apologising and lamenting your own incompetence. That should be step 1 in regaining your reputation.
