Uncontrollable data usage

For the third(month) time I've used YouTube on my iPad and watched about 20-30 music videos, and it's taken all my data. Which is about 1,7Gb. The app does not update, but takes all data. I should not pay for you product that is faulty. I reset cellular usage as I get data to prove YouTube is the reason.
