Please see my story in the email I had to send them just now.

Dear Sir

Today the 30th of January 2017, an Amount of R494 was deducted from my account. I'm on a R99 1gig package, which is far off from the agreed amount. I called the contact centre and was told there is no cap: for that please see the messege I received below on the 3rd of January 2017:

Your bundle has been refreshed. Change your Access Point Name under your phone settings to 'yellodata'. Need help? Call ********** 550 or visit http://bit.ly/1rrEuG8

Then on the 20th of January 2017 I received the following sms:

You have reached your YelloData cap limit. Please enter the word 'myMTN' * MTN's default APN settings for continued use of mobile connectivity. Assistance call ********** 550

Then it is said there is no cap, since I started the service in Decemeber 2016 I could even check my own balance on your web page. Now the option is not even available on your web page. You don't even receive an invoice or bill informing you of the payment amount it just gets deducted, then also the wrong amoung which is 5 times more than the agreed amount. When I started the service there was no mention of this and no terms was read or sent to myself.

This is unfair conduct, please reverse the amount over charged.

If not I will take this further.

PS my service is now cancelled

Regards

Wayne

This in unacceptable, they steel from the poor.
