Dishonesty

I was offered a contract for data at R69pm. I enquired if the amount will remain the same and was guaranteed that it would. Then I get hit with a deduction over R400 and when I enquire I get a nonchalant "you used the data you must pay for it". I cancelled the contract received an SMS confirming this and to date they continue to debit my account even after I honoured the disputed amount and the R69 for the current month to ensure that I do not owe them a single cent. I call regulary to complain and all I get is an assurance that it is cancelled, followed by and SMS and a reference number which doesn't mean a thing. This company is dishonest in their dealings and in my opinion MTN should take some accountability as they too simply just put their hands up and say it's a vendor who make use of our database to source business.
