YDE shocking return policy

I purchased Sunglasses from YDE on 11 August 2019 with other expensive items, still with stickers and price tags attached and my slip I wanted to return them today 04 September 2019 - never worn and wanted to take it back today for a refund as the glasses did not fit my friend I bought them for. I thought the return would be done as the slip said "generally 14 days" and my price tags and stickers on the glass was still intact, clearly not worn. I was very shocked as most stores have a 30 day return policy as per the South African Consumers Act. I now sit with purchases I can do nothing with and not happy with the goods purchased - at least then offer a voucher to purchase something else. Very very disappointed with YDE as a South African company supporting South African designers....sure, I will not support them again as your policies go against the consumer Act. Luckily for me - Zara was across from YDE and I could purchase something there to make me feel better about the whole situation :( - who by the way have a 30 day return policy....
