YDE Christmas gift refund
A present was bought from my favorite shop at YDE Centution, we were in Swaziland at the time and it was festive season so we tried to return it when we got. It was a red dress that didn’t fit my bust and was bought for a specific occasion therefore a exchange is not helpful as I had to buy something else to wear in Swaziland for the occasion. I am therefore out of pocket of the money. All retailers are understanding to the fact of Christmas gifts and not willing to lose customers over something so small. I told the cashier I can show her it doesn’t fit and my passport that I haven’t been in the country but they didn’t even attempt to accommodate me further. The dress still has the tag and slip and hasn’t been worn and they didn’t even bother to check. It would be no loss to YDE to refund the dress. I am a returning customer but I shouldn’t be forced into a gift card or exchange when there’s nothing else I want. One dress of R799 isn’t worth losing a customer of many more purchases in future for other special occasion. Please escalate the matter to your head office for a refund as I don’t believe your cashiers went out their way to assist me.
